Tono Rosario
Tono Rosario is a singer-songwriter, arranger and producer. He is best known for his Latin merengue numbers. Rosario was the first solo merengue act to ever sell out Madison Square Garden.
Since Rosario's childhood, he and his brothers showed a great interest in music. They would play self-made instruments made out of bottle caps, plastic containers, and other items. Soon, they started singing and playing in the neighborhood and started what would become Los Hermanos Rosario, a music band with whom Rosario enjoyed great success.
In the late 1980s, after 12 years of being with his brothers, Toņo decided to leave the group and began his own solo career. He debuted on April 14, 1990, in the Roberto Clemente Coliseum of Puerto Rico. Toņo's song Alegria was played at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan whenever former Detroit Tigers utility infielder Omar Infante came to bat.

Zacarias Ferreira
Zacarias Ferreira is a Bachata artist from the Dominican Republic. He was born in the 1970s in the Dominican Republic. Ferreira was born in the cigar-manufacturing town of Amaceyes Tamboril, near Santiago in the Cibao region of the north-western Dominican Republic. The region is famous for merengue perico ripao, the traditional Dominican music,[1] and his family, all big music lovers, filled his childhood home with the music spurring Zacarias on to dream of becoming a musical artist himself. The desire to improve himself motivated him to leave for the countrys capital, Santo Domingo, where he joined the Conservatorio Nacional and also sang in a local bachata group. Ferreira then became a member of the Brugal rum company orchestra, where he remained for five years. His debut album, Me Libere, was released in 1997 and won the prestigious Dominican music award, the Cassandra. Three years later his second album, El Triste, won the award for him for a second time. In the winter of 2001, Ferreira travelled to the United States for the first time and played 77 gigs in just six-and-a-half weeks in New York. August 17, 2010 Zacaria Ferreiras will be inaugurating Escuela primaria de Amaceyes Arriba, that he Built.

Fernando Villalona
Fernandito Villalona's opportunity to become involved in the Dominican popular music scene came in 1971 when he participated in a search for new talent festival organized by Amucaba, a local artists association. Acclaimed as one of the best performers, a well-deserved third place in that event allowed him to join a major number. After singing for Wilfrido Vargas' los Hijos del Rey, Fernandito Villalona (aka Mayimbe) assembled his own orchestra. Even when he liked bolero over merengue, Kubaney signed him up to make his first tropical records.
